Conquer the "Ice Breaker" Beast Hunt in Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter! This guide details how to defeat the Frost Death March, a formidable foe in the White Whiskers region.

By this stage, you've likely upgraded your weaponry, boasting a diverse arsenal covering Fire, Ice, Electric, and Poison elements. This elemental variety is key to simplifying this hunt. Remember, preparation is crucial in Tails of Iron 2!

Initiating the Hunt

After completing Beast Hunts in The Outskirts, The Rift, and The Golden Forest, head to the rightmost hut in The Warren in White Whiskers. Speak with the local hunter to learn about the troublesome Frost Death March.

Your first encounter takes place between the White Whiskers Docks and The Warren. A convenient merchant is nearby in The Warren, allowing you to restock before the battle.

Defeating the Frost Death March

The Frost Death March possesses a deadly dive and tail whip combo. Equip your strongest electric and fire weapons to maximize damage. Once you deplete a portion of its health (less than 33%), it will flee to the area directly below, accessible via the right-side archway.

Phase Two: A Whisker and an Ambush

Follow the map marker to find a whisker dangling from a bridge. Attempting to save the rabbit triggers a Death March ambush, initiating a leaping attack followed by a tail slam. Dodge towards its rear and unleash powerful two-handed weapon attacks. Master the timing of dodging its rolling attack for optimal damage and minimal harm. Reduce its health to 33% to trigger its retreat, allowing you to save the whisker.

Phase Three: The Final Confrontation

Restock if needed, then ascend the platforms and ladder to reach The Ice Field. The Frost Death March will erupt from the ground. Use your most potent fire or electric two-handed weapon (buffed with a Whetstone for extra power) to deliver devastating blows. Avoid its signature diving attack and tail whip combo, and victory will be yours. This boss is significantly weaker than previous encounters. Loot the Giant Death March Ice Tail before proceeding.
