The most effective method for acquiring Portals is by conquering Bosses in Infinite Mode on Nightmare difficulty. Each Boss defeat grants a 10% chance of receiving a Portal. Assisting others in completing their Portals also offers a chance to earn one. While defeating Bosses in Story Mode might yield Portals, the drop rate is significantly lower.

Understanding Anime Last Stand Portals:

Portals are categorized into five tiers, each offering a health boost: Tier 1 ( 0%), Tier 2 ( 25%), Tier 3 ( 50%), Tier 4 ( 150%), and Tier 5 ( 200%). Completing a Portal tier provides a chance to upgrade to the next. Tier 1 Portals always have a guaranteed upgrade to Tier 2 upon completion.
